TriStar Officers Assist Shooting Victim Found on I-40 On-Ramp

Last night, TriStar Protective Services officers were conducting routine patrols at an apartment complex when they heard multiple gunshots coming from the direction of the I-40 on-ramp right behind the property.

As they exited the property, they went to investigate and observed a vehicle stopped on the side of the on-ramp. Our officers stopped to check on the situation and discovered an individual inside the vehicle who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. They immediately contacted Metro Police and emergency services, who arrived quickly. The individual was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

We are grateful our officers took the initiative to investigate and were able to help the victim. No further details will be released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

As always, great work by Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and Nashville Fire Department for their quick response to help the victim!
